The Peace Islands Institute dinner and awards event is now a Boston tradition that promotes peace and harmony among diverse communities by bringing together people from different walks of life for a fun evening of discussion and reflection, recognizing the universal appeal of getting to know one another by “breaking bread” together. It also provides an opportunity to acknowledge the good work of community leaders who inspire us with their dedication to various causes.

We have chosen “The Power of Women” as the theme for this year’s friendship dinner. The awardees of the night are Tina Chery, Founder & President of Louis D. Brown Peace Institute, Anne Cheung, Co-founder & Director of A2Empowerment and Cemre Ulker, Representative of Set Them Free, due to their efforts in making our world a better place for everyone. Each of these women is an inspired leader who has been chosen for their exceptional work in the community.

We invite you to join us at our 10th Annual Friendship Dinner and Awards Ceremony.

We expect approximately 200 distinguished guests, including business and community leaders, professionals, spiritual leaders, politicians, academics as well as friends and family. We hope you are one of them.
